THE BARRY DAWSON INITIATIVE

This offering was created to honour a beloved member of this community, Barry Dawson. An irreplaceable member of the Seneca Tribe, and Fire Captain of Firestation 08. Barry battled his mental health and trauma, and sought help for medical support, as well as community support before passing on November 11, 2017.  

Iboga Temple and Matoaka Spirit recognize and acknowledge the Niitsitaapi, and the atrocities and suffering that the First Nations continue to endure since the colonization of these lands. We acknowledge the Missing and Murdered Women, the Lost and Stolen Children, and the Fallen Warriors of the Nations. The cries of the people are not unheard, we see you.

We would also like to acknowledge the dedication, sacrifice, and selflessness of our Province’s First Responders. Your mental health, your voices, and your dedication to our lives and safety matter.

To commemorate Barry’s life, and legacy, and to honour his memory and his story we have created this special offering to all First Nations and First responders. A 30% discount will be given to any member of these communities. Your mental health is important to us, you are not alone.
